Slim Chickens Opens in Hendersonville, Tn.
A new fast casual chicken restaurant will serve the community of Hendersonville, Tennessee. The Arkansas-based Slim Chickens chain offers southern hospitality in a restaurant setting and a drive thru open until midnight in the fourth-largest city in the Nashville metro area.

Grocery-Anchored Neighborhood Centers Open in Growing Southern Suburbs
Two new grocery-anchored neighborhood centers will serve the growing suburbs of Atlanta, Ga. and Tuscaloosa, Ala. with 126,000 square feet of space for quality retail and service providers.
The first Publix-anchored center is a 68,600-square-foot space in the fast-growing “Quality Development Corridor” of Buford Georgia. The development is located near new schools, churches and 2,000 new home builds are expected by 2020. The center has nearly 20,000 square feet of inline space available, plus three one-acre outparcels.
The second development in Northport, Ala. is a 56,800-square foot Publix-anchored neighborhood center in one of the state’s fastest growing areas. Tuscaloosa is the fifth largest market in the state. In addition to two outparcels, 10,500 square feet of space for retail shops is available.

Watkins Delivers ‘Trees’ Community Concept in Gainsville, Georgia
Trees of Gainesville, an Earth Craft Certified, 348-unit apartment home community located at 100 Foothills Parkway, just off Jesse Jewel Parkway in Gainesville, Ga. Thirteen buildings will complete the community of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Three buildings have been delivered and the remaining ten are expected to be complete by third quarter 2018.

Ground Breaks on Publix-anchored Center in Huntsville
Publix Super Market will anchor The Pinnacle at Providence located at the intersection of Old Monrovia and Johns Roads in Huntsville, Al. When completed in 2018, the 59,600-square foot neighborhood center will expand the amenity base for residents of Providence, a nearby master-planned, mixed-use community.
In addition to a 45,600-square foot Publix Super Market—the market’s 3rd storefront for the Florida-based grocer—Courtney Murray, DDS (2000 sq. ft.) and Allure Nails Spa (2200 sq.ft.) have already joined the tenant line-up that will also include an additional 9,800 square feet of shop space along with one .92-acre outparcel to accommodate national and regional retailers and service providers as well as local and regional restaurants. Construction financing for the 9.2-acre site is provided by BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT).
